Local information

The Department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics was formed by joining two separate departments in 2010, and to this day the department has two addresses. The astronomers tend to be at Sölvegatan 27 while the physicists tend to be at Sölvegatan 14 A.

For international researchers planning their visit, it is worth noting that the nearest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport. From there, it is only a 40 minute train ride to Lund Central Station, and a short walk (or cab ride) to the department.
