This is a PhD level course.

This course gives a basic understanding of superconductors, superfluids and the quantum Hall effect, with emphasis on properties and phenomena that have applications in several branches of physics: beyond solid state physics also e.g. particle physics, nuclear physics and cosmology. The course is a reading or self-study course and is given once every few years.
