Newly admitted students
Congratulations on your choice of education - we are happy to have you here! As a new student at the Department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics there are certain things that it is important you know. We have gathered the most important things below.
Introduction and welcome letter
All our courses and programmes start with a mandatory introduction meeting. If you do not attend the meeting, you will lose your place on the course.
In good time before your course starts you will get a welcome letter from the department. If you are a master student the welcome letter may also contain information about how you choose courses within your program.
Sometimes our emails bounce or end up among your junk mails. If you have not received a welcome letter four weeks before the start of your course or programme, please contact our study advisor: studievagledning [at] fysik [dot] lu [dot] se
Registration for courses
At the Department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics you cannot register for the courses yourself. We will register all students that attend the compulsory introduction meeting the first day of the course.
