Research

Lund Observatory

Research at Lund Observatory is centred on the study of stars and stellar systems with emphasis on the Milky Way, on laboratory measurements of atomic data, and on the design of next-generation astronomical telescopes.

Computational Biology and Biological Physics

The Computational Biology & Biological Physics Group at Lund University pursues a very broad spectrum of research activities. In particular, the group builds models of macromolecules and living systems, and investigates biological processes by applying machine learning and statistical techniques.

Theoretical Particle Physics

The Theoretical Particle Physics Group is mainly active in phenomenological studies of the strong force, in particular the modelling of multi-particle production in high energy collisions, hadron physics at lower energies, and phenomenology of models beyond the standard model.
