In the course you together with your supervisor will choose a problem in astrophysics, which you independently will study and solve. The task can be of a observational, technical or theoretical nature. It should preferentially be linked to a current research project at the department.
In the course you will get the opportunity to apply your previously acquired knowledge on a specific problem and to interpret and rate the results. You will also get training in reporting the problem, methods of investigation and results, both in written and oral form.
Students are encouraged to contact possible supervisors and discuss projects, and also to suggest projects themselves!
